Famous Crypto Investor Promised a $15 Million Donation to US Presidential Candidate Donald Trump! Here are the Details

Trump, who has demanded big checks from America’s richest Republicans, has frequently promised donors at fundraisers to implement the policies they want, from lowering corporate taxes to approving oil permits and expelling pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey Promises to Donate $15 Million to Trump

In recent months, Trump’s advisers say the former president has had numerous meetings with donors and potential donors about cryptocurrency.

He became interested in cryptocurrency, a digital currency not tied to any central bank, after a group of donors came to Mar-a-Lago, said they would support his campaign and complained about Biden administration officials, including SEC Chairman Gary Gensler.

Trump recently attended another major fundraiser in California filled with cryptocurrency executives, according to people who attended. According to one attendee, Trump promised to support their innovations.

Trump and his campaign have met repeatedly with cryptocurrency entrepreneur David Bailey, who has promised Trump to hold a $15 million fundraiser in Nashville later this month, according to people familiar with the matter.

Trump is also expected to chair a cryptocurrency conference that will be attended by a large crowd and celebrities.

One of Bailey’s private meetings with Trump took place at Trump Tower in New York last spring, during the former president’s trial on business fraud charges, according to people with knowledge of the meeting.

Trump’s campaign announced days after this meeting that they would accept donations via cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency executives and supporters also held multiple events at his club in Florida, according to people who attended.

At a dinner last month, Bailey also pitched a number of cryptocurrency ideas to Trump senior adviser Vince Haley.

It was stated that Haley later drafted the platform, which included supporting language about cryptocurrency.
