Pavel Durov’s girlfriend: The reason behind his arrest?

You know that Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov was arrested in France around twenty-four hours ago. But what you don’t know is that he wasn’t alone.

A mysterious woman, believed to be his girlfriend, was arrested with him. Loved ones haven’t been able to get in touch with her since the news broke. The same woman could also be the reason he was caught in the first place.

Reports are saying this woman is Yulia Vavilova, a 24-year-old crypto coach and streamer from Dubai. She’s been spotted with Pavel on multiple occasions, practically glued to his side in places like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.

And she was also on the private jet with him when they landed in Paris, right before they both got nabbed by the French authorities.

Now we can’t know for sure if Yulia is Pavel’s girlfriend or just some close associate. But they’ve been seen together way too often for it to be a coincidence.

Every time Pavel shows up somewhere, Yulia’s not far behind, posting Instagram stories from his jet, cozying up in some fancy spot where Pavel is also chilling.

She’d posted several pictures of herself when they were together in Paris, which many in the crypto community believe led the authorities right to them.

But Yulia is more than just arm candy. She’s got a background in crypto, although you wouldn’t guess that from her Instagram. But some folks are whispering that she might be the one who orchestrated the entire thing.

Pavel Durov’s girlfriend: The reason behind his arrest?

Maybe she was a honeytrap and she tipped someone off. Maybe she’s involved in some shady stuff we don’t know about yet. Hell, maybe she’s a spy. Who knows?

As it stands, Pavel’s facing some serious charges. We’re talking up to 20 years in prison if the French authorities decide to throw the book at him. He can remain in detention for up to four days while they figure out whether to press charges.
